The Marathon Continues!
Big Sean has delivered the music video for his track “Deep Reverence," featuring the late-great Nipsey Hussle.
In the music video, the Detroit rapper pays tribute to the big homie with a series of portrait of Nipsey's placed throughout Los Angeles. Sean Don raps “if it ain’t Nipsey blue, it’s Detroit blue,” as he reflects on Nip’s legacy.
Sean shared a few words on his Instagram account about the song by writing:
"DEEP REVERENCE FT NIPSEY HUSSLE (VIDEO) OUT NOW!!! This one of the most uncomfortable, honest songs I ever did. I said things on here I thought I’d never say publicly, but realized that u gotta live and own all your truths, cause u can’t always count on that opportunity to be there. "Deep Reverence” is off Sean’s chart-topping album Detroit 2, which he dropped last year. The song is also nominated for 'Best Rap Performance' at next week’s Grammys.
