THE GAME: Contempt of Court Charge Possible

TeeRoy's 2 Centst:

  • Don't be surprised if he's ordered to cover her court costs, as well.
  • Prolonging this is cruel and unusual. It's not just about the money -- it's about the continued trauma he's putting his victim through by making her still have to think about and deal with this.
  • If he has some evidence proving his innocence, he needs to be out with it.
  • He seems to think that because she was on a reality show looking for love she was "asking for it."
  • This incident and the subsequent allegations took place a couple years before the #MeToo movement sprang up.
  • He doesn't want to pay because he's appealing, and then he'll have to chase her to get it back if he wins.
  • Game needs to take care of this. Having a federal warrant out for your arrest means FBI agents will be knocking on your door.

Priscilla Rainey successfully sued Game in 2016 after she said he'd made sexual advances towards her on the set of his VH1 dating show She’s Got Game. She claimed that he slid his hands up and down her dress against her wishes. But Game has appealed the verdict and refused to pay -- and declined to turn over any financial documents to Rainey's legal team.

A federal judge in Chicago has given him until an April 5th hearing to explain why he hasn't complied with the court's ruling. (Chicago Tribune)
